Victory School had secured a proprietary Kiwispan shed that they planned to construct and use for a new school hall. Arthouse was engaged to coordinate the integration of this shell, designing additional doors, windows, and acoustic treatment to create a more appropriate internal environment.
In addition, we wove a covered deck around the north side of the building to connect back to the school. Two community meeting rooms, foyer, tearoom and toilets were provided on the addition to the north edge while four school support rooms were added to the south edge along with storage and ablution facilities. The spaces have been well used by the school and local community.
