Forming the central hub of fields and courts that cater for a range of sports including rugby, netball, touch, softball, and beach volleyball, this multi sports pavilion has been developed with the community in mind.
The design encompasses sport dressing rooms constructed of concrete blocks and exposed ground floor ceilings, and the modern eye-catching materials and design make it functional for the 21st century. The upper roof was shaped to mimic the peaks and valleys of the local landscape. Its irregular shapes and timber plywood with negative joints were carefully planned and beautifully executed. There was a special effort made to continue the lines beyond the walls to make it feel as though its floating. Walkways feature large glass components, providing expansive views over the neighbouring fields.
