Seismic strengthening of the existing grandstand and re-design of the roof structure, refurbishment of the seats and media/coaches boxes at the back. New terrace seating to the front and a new players tunnel connection the stadium to the new and upgraded turf and lights. The ground under the grandstand has been stabilised and the space under the grandstand has been stripped back to make way for new players changing rooms, match day officials changing, storage and game day management as well as new public toilet facilities and a display area for memorabilia. A separate new office building is also being installed to the south of the refurbished grandstand.
